Gas & Oil Safety
We take safety seriously, and are both Gas Safe & Oftec registered. Gas safe is the governing body of gas engineers (formerly Corgi) and Oftec are the governing body of oil engineers.
It is important that gas and oil appliances are regularly serviced. By getting them serviced regularly you can rest assured that you and your family are safe from harmful flue gases (carbon monoxide, which can be fatal).
A service not only ensures that safety devices are working correctly, but also helps to maintain your boiler efficiency.
We do both homeowner and landlord safety certificates to document our findings on your services.
Landlord Certification Checks
By law, under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, it is the responsibility of the landlord to get a Gas Safety Certificate every twelve months.
You must get this from a Gas Safe Registered engineer for all pipe work, gas appliances and flues installed at your property.
David Turner Heating & Plumbing provides a Landlord Gas Safety Check (LGSC) service for properties within the Scottish Borders, North Northumberland and East Lothian areas.
